When I used to think about Voldemort’s horcruxes I imagined a soul divided in equal portions residing in the different horcruxes and Voldemort himself. I realised that this can’t be true in The Half-Blood Prince Slughorn describes making a horcrux as splitting ones soul in two. This means that when Riddle made his Diary into a horcrux he split his soul in half and physically removed one half from his body and placed it in the diary. This means that he only had half of his soul left when he made his next horcrux, Marvolo’s ring. This half would have been split in half leaving only a quarter in Voldemort’s body. This goes on and on the amount of soul remaining in Voldemort halving each time he makes a horcrux until he had only 1/128 or 0.78125% left in his body. As shown in the graph above. So next time you wonder why Voldemort could have done some of things he did, remember how little human he had left in him. I don’t know about you but I think that this is crazy.

Baltimore, Maryland – This week, a 13-year-old girl received 10 stitches in her head after she was attacked by police at Vanguard Middle School in Baltimore. The entire incident was caught on video and shows the school police officer yelling at the small child for apparently no reason.When the child, who was later identified as Starr, tries to go about her own business and walk past the officer, the officer freaks out and grabs the child by the arm, throwing her against the wall.“The officer was hollering at her and said, ‘Little girl, get down here, and so Starr said, ‘My name is not little girl, it’s Starr.’ Starr came on down the steps, and Starr said that’s when the officer grabbed her,” Starr’s grandmother, Vanessa Ward, told WBAL.When Star attempted to free herself, the officer grabbed the child by the hair and began fighting with her.At that point, Starr’s cousin Diamond witnessed the altercation but did not realize that it was an officer involved. When she attempted to rescue her young cousin from the attack, the rabid officer turned on her and pulled out a Baton, striking the girl in face. Diamond had her back against the wall and her hands up in the air when she was hit with the baton.There was reportedly another unnamed girl involved in the scuffle, and it was later reported that the officer used pepper spray on all three of the girls.
